Product Manager
Prague, Czech Republic
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that combines strategic marketing with hands-on operational tasks? At Farmak International, we’re looking for a passionate Product Manager to lead and expand our product portfolio in the Czech Republic, covering both hospital and retail channels.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of marketing execution and local launch coordination for our products. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
- Hospital Segment (50%): Analyze market opportunities and tender landscapes. Develop pricing strategies and reimbursement dossiers. Create promotional materials and campaigns tailored to hospital needs. Collaborate with KAM and Retail teams to build value arguments for hospital inclusion. Execute public procurement contracts and monitor uptake. Engage with KOLs and hospital pharmacists to drive awareness.
- Retail Portfolio Support (50%): Manage lifecycle of Rx and OTC products in retail. Implement marketing plans and campaigns for existing brands. Monitor product performance and propose adjustments. Develop promotional materials in compliance with regulations. Coordinate with sales teams and pharmacy chains to boost visibility. Contribute to sales forecasting and stock management.
- Launch Management (Hospital & Retail): Lead local commercial launch processes from pre-launch to post-launch. Coordinate with Regulatory, Sales, Supply, and QA teams. Develop go-to-market plans and ensure alignment with goals. Monitor readiness milestones and escalate risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Higher Education: Hold a university degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or Business/Marketing with a healthcare focus.
- Industry Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Marketing & Portfolio: Possess a strong background in marketing and portfolio management.
- Project Leadership: Proven experience in roles such as Launch Management, Launch Coordination, or Project Management.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Digital Tools: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., VEEVA).
- Valued: MBA or advanced degree; strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical practices; familiarity with the Czech healthcare system and SUKL regulations; creative thinking and problem-solving; proficiency in various marketing platforms and tools; excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Participate in the supply chain process from order placement to goods receipt at the warehouse.
- Purchase Order Management: Create and communicate purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Shipping Coordination: Issue and verify shipping documents, order transport for timely delivery.
- Vendor Relationship: Build strong relationships with vendors, ensuring access to product and order information.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory management team to match deliveries with purchase orders and monitor stock levels.
- Compliance and Control: Ensure compliance with payment conditions agreed with suppliers, avoiding excess material in the warehouse
- Reporting: Contribute to internal and external reports creation related to purchasing activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Higher Education: Hold a degree in technical, management, or economics field.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a purchasing position.
- Vendor Management: Experience in working with multiple vendors and suppliers, assessing capabilities, and maintaining positive supplier relationships.
