Farmak International delivers first commercial shipment of Gadoteric Acid to China under the 10th National VBP programme
Only non-Chinese winner in the latest tender brings MRI contrast agent to Chinese hospitals
Earlier this week, Farmak International completed the first commercial shipment of Gadoteric Acid (Meglumine Salt) Injection to China, fulfilling supply commitments awarded in the country’s 10th National Volume-Based Procurement (VBP) round. Farmak International was the sole foreign manufacturer selected in this tender, demonstrating the competitiveness and quality of its sterile-injectable portfolio.
This delivery follows national marketing authorisation granted in December 2024, less than five months ago, highlighting Farmak International’s ability to move swiftly from regulatory approval to market supply.
